Why pay for email?

As a paying customer, you are at the center of our business. Email service, even with a “free” account, has a cost. Your life’s private details pass through email. Companies that monetize your data owe you a lot more than a “free” account for what they get! Here, the arrangement is clear and simple. You come first, and your privacy is always protected.

How do I move to Fastmail from another provider?

Smoothest migration you’ll ever have! We provide an import tool that walks you through it, a comprehensive migration guide, and free migration support if you need it.

What will my new email address be?

If you have your own domain, it can be you@yourdomain.com. If you don’t own a domain, you can be yourname@fastmail.com or your choice from a domain we own. You can use extra addresses (called aliases) for free with your Fastmail account. Mail to those addresses goes to your Inbox and is treated just like your first address.

How will I access my mail?

You have many options. Use Fastmail in your web browser by logging in at fastmail.com. Keep using your favorite email app like Outlook, Thunderbird, or Mac Mail. Download our mobile apps on the Apple App Store or Google Play (with buttons that link to stores next to each other)

How can I save money on my plan?

Paying for a year up front gets you two months free on every plan. You can also earn credit to pay for your account by using your Refer a Friend link found in your account settings. The more you share, the more you’ll save! Plus, friends you refer get 10% off for a whole year.

Can I add users on plans different than mine?

Yes. You can build an account where you mix and match the plan level to each user. For example, you can build a Fastmail Family by adding additional Standard and Basic plans for adults and children.

Can I share my domain with other users on my plan?

Yes. If you have a Standard or Professional plan with your own domain, you can share a domain alias with any Basic users on your account.
